Master Letter Lock
Master Letter Lock™ padlocks feature combinations comprised of 20 popular letters instead of numbers. Each bold, easy-to-read letter has its own individual “tick mark” to eliminate guessing at hash marks in between to find the right combination. Each Letter Lock padlock comes with its own three-word memory phrase to help retain the lock-opening letter combination right from the start. For example, “One Dark Igloo,” is the memory phrase with a padlock opened by dialing “O-D-I”, and it’s easy to visualize several igloos, the middle one of which is dark, flanked by two snow-white companions. Another benefit of Letter Locks is that they eliminate transposing, where students who have different number combinations for hall and gym lockers tend to mix numbers, using one or more form one combination when dialing the other lock, often resulting in not being able to correctly recall either combination or get into either locker.

TITALIUM™ from ABUS
With the introduction of the brass padlock in 1958, the security experts at ABUS managed to establish a whole new market segment. In 2012 they are doing it again – ABUS presents its new TITALIUM™ series of padlocks. The TITALIUM™ series of padlocks stands out with three product series offering various sizes for individual security requirements. Credential support includes a variety of RFID smart cards including CAC, PIV, TWIC, FIPS 201, MIFARE™, iCLASS® as well as 125kHz PROX. The lock memory records both authorized user access and unauthorized attempts. This information is delivered to the respective access control system’s dashboard in seconds where applicable.
